The spot previously occupied by REVE Kitchen and Dessert Bar at King Street (right next to Public Bank Penang Main Branch) is now taken up by Cuisine 18, a new restaurant offering a French-inspired menu. There are only minimal changes to the interior but the addition of curtains that block the sunlight from flowing in does introduce a romantic touch to the place. The menu offering is not too big but sufficiently covers all range of diners (from Fish to Chicken and Red Meat), the price points are of mid-average but the Course menu offers better values. A pretty decent restaurant for some solid French-inspired dishes without putting a dent on the wallet.

人多聚餐,吃中餐當然易選擇。但如果吃西餐的話,選擇不多,這裡是個人而言的心水之選。
環境熱鬧輕鬆,氣氛不拘一格。食物有水準,而不少都很適合多人分吃。以主菜為例,恆常的選擇也有十多款,豬、牛、羊、雞、魚、海鮮、澱粉質統統在內,很難找不到大家的心頭好。
個人覺得必吃的是原隻焗鵝肝「黑腳雞(Poulet Noir)」Poulet "A La Maison”。黑色的雞腳是其標誌,因為走地放養的關係,雞皮薄而肉質緊緻之餘也肉味特濃。更美味的是加入了鵝肝同焗的,將豐腴的鵝肝夾在雞胸肉一起吃,確是人間美味。
疲情反覆,不知何時才可又來聚餐?

[瑞士 琉森Lucerne] 呢排實在太忙太忙,完全唔得閒寫下歐洲嘅遊記,因爲突如其來嘅8號風球先有時間清下文🙈之後會盡量寫返多D🤣哈哈~
Restaurant AMMOS食 #現代希臘菜,位置正正喺 #琉森湖 旁邊,所以對住湖景吹住海風,環境非常chill😏食物亦好高質,比我喺希臘食過嘅希臘菜更合我胃口,人均都係港幣$250左右,喺瑞士來講算唔貴🤣
🔹Feta se Filo (CHF15.5)- #希臘芝士酥皮,酥皮非常薄脆,入面係feta cheese餡,芝味十足,加上甜甜酸酸嘅醬汁,食落好開胃完全唔滯🧀🧀🧀.
🔸Chtapodi Plokami (CHF23.5)-#烤章魚 又係好有驚喜嘅一道菜!章魚肉質軟腍,本身已經好新鮮,底下嘅mousse唔單止可以突出章魚鮮味,加咗罌粟籽仲好有地中海風味🐙

🔹Mousakas (CHF31.5)-#肉醬千層茄子🍆應該係最classic嘅 #希臘菜 吧!點咗一客試試,一樣無令人失望,表面微微焦香,入面餡料好豐富😋.

🔸Poulet Souvlakia (CHF36)-#雞肉串燒,本身無咩期望,因為歐洲食到嘅串燒通常都會燒到好乾身,但呢度嘅雞肉串燒好嫩滑,完全唔嚡口👍🏻,秘製醬汁亦有D似沙爹醬,好惹味,同Pita Bread都好夾😉我特別鍾意食D薯仔片,好脆又有薯味!
🔹Tsipoura Fileto (CFH36.5) Sea bream 有兩大塊,唔使太多調味已經好有魚味,我反而鍾意食墊底嘅蔬菜,好甜🍆

●鶏もも肉:約800g
●花かつお:約15g
●醤油:大さじ2
●みりん:大さじ1
●お酒:大さじ1
●創味シャンタン:小さじ1(ウェイパーでもOK)
●生姜:小さじ1/2
●にんにく:小さじ1/2
●片栗粉:大さじ6
●米油(普通の油でもOKだけど米油だとヘルシーになるよ)
※漬け時間は鶏肉を常温に戻している時間だけでOKです

今回はお店で食べるよりお家で作る方が絶対美味しいと思った自信作です!
香りや衣まで本当に美味しい花かつおの香味唐揚げを作りました。
衣が今までにない食感でめちゃくちゃサクサクしてて
一口食べるとジュワっと鶏やかつお等の旨みと香りが溢れて
噛めば噛むほどむちゃくちゃ旨いんです。
後からかつおの風味が鼻から抜ける感じもとても上品で本当に堪らないですよ♪
お陰でご飯3合が秒で無くなりましたw
唐揚げが大好きなのでお店に唐揚げがあれば必ず頼むくらいなんですが
感動するほど美味しい唐揚げってなかなかないんですよね…。
正直、こうちゃんの唐揚げを超える唐揚げに出会った事がないです。
ただ一年間何度も作り続けてこの世界一美味いから揚げを超えるような
から揚げを完成させました。
漬け時間も短く、調味料の数も多くない本当に簡単なレシピになってます。
是非一度、この花かつおの唐揚げを試して欲しいです。
こうちゃんの唐揚げは本当に視聴者さんに大好評なんですが
今回の唐揚げもきっとあまりの美味しさに鳥肌が立つと思いますよ♪

[Ingredients]
● Chicken thighs: about 800g
● Hana Katsuo (Bonito Flakes): About 15g
● Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
● Mirin: 1 tablespoon
● Sake: 1 tablespoon
● SOMI shantung (you can also use Weipa): 1 teaspoon
● Ginger: 1/2 teaspoon
● Garlic: 1/2 teaspoon
● Potato starch: 6 tablespoons
● Rice oil (You can use regular oil, but rice oil will be healthier)

We made a flavorful Japanese fried chicken with bonito flakes that is truly delicious, right down to the aroma and batter.
The batter has an unprecedented texture and is extremely crispy.
When you take a bite, the flavor and aroma of the chicken, bonito,
etc. overflows, and the more you bite into it, the more delicious it becomes.
The bonito flavor that comes out of your nose afterwards is also very elegant and really irresistible ♪
Thanks to this dish, three cups of rice were gone in seconds lol
I love fried food so much that I always order fried food when I find it at a restaurant, but it's hard to find fried food that tastes so good that it impresses me.
To be honest, I have never found a fried chicken that surpasses Ko-chan's one.
We kept trying it over and over again for a year and perfected it to surpass the most delicious fried chicken in the world.
And finally we found a really simple recipe with a short marinating time and not too many seasonings.
I would like you to try this fried chicken with bonito flakes.
