Advance the Gospel in the Way that God Leads you
“Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20 WEB)
Jesus was not just commissioning the apostles to preach the Gospel. It is obvious because the twelve did not manage to reach all the nations in their lifetime. This commission is for every believer throughout time. The words which Jesus spoke in the passage above are know as “The Great Commission”.
I am so glad that Jesus did not just give a command and leave us scratching our heads on how to fulfill it. He sandwiched the command between two statements of provision.
Firstly, Jesus used all the authority He had to give us authority to preach the Gospel so that people from all nations would be saved.
Then, at the end of the passage, He assured us of His ever-abiding presence with us.
We are not trying to preach the Gospel by our own strength and eloquence. We have Jesus’ authority which allows us to access God’s power for confirming signs and wonders to back up our message. Additionally, Jesus is with us through His Spirit, to empower us to preach, and to teach us what to say or do.
Although every Christian is sent to preach the Gospel, relatively few are called to preach from stage. Most do not. When the words “preach” or “ministry” are used, don’t limit your imagination to some person in a suit preaching from the stage to a huge crowd.
There may be Christians led by the Spirit to start a soup kitchen where they feed the poor and share the love of Christ by their actions.
Other Christians are led to buy gifts and hand them out to the people they know. The gifts may contain a handwritten note, saying things like, “I know you’re going through a tough time, but I am praying that God will surely help and restore you. The Lord Jesus loves you with an everlasting love!”
There are so many ways to minister the Gospel to others. The Holy Spirit knows all the ways, and He matches you with a certain way that fits you. That is why it is pointless to compare yourself with others.
I first learnt about Pastor Joseph Prince and New Creation Church because my friend and business associate handed me the book “Destined to Reign”.
I remember I was sitting on a coach in Las Vegas, USA, on the way to see the Grand Canyon. The book was my good companion during the journey, and I was absolutely mind-blown by Pastor’s sharing of the true Gospel. The chains of legalism and performance-based salvation fell off, and the sweet love of God flooded my heart.
After that vacation, I invited myself to that business associate’s church (NCC), determined to heard more Gospel truths from Pastor Prince in person. You see, this Christian lady’s ministry looked different from a pastor preaching on stage. She handed out books that she bought, and these acts of friendliness and generosity planted seeds of the Gospel in people’s hearts, producing a powerful ripple effect that blessed many.
You are uniquely designed by God. Your calling is also tailor-made for you. No one can do it better because you have a unique set of life experiences, relationships, gifts, and knowledge to reach a niche crowd of the unsaved.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you and give you opportunities to share the Gospel in the way that He wants you to.
Even if you are not good with words, and you consider yourself antisocial, if you are good at earning lots of money, then give towards ministries that preach the true Gospel which is the Grace of Christ. This is why God blessed you with wealth and the power to get it. Your giving enables ministries to reach more people with the Gospel and plant more seeds for salvation.
This Facebook page, “Milton Goh Blog and Sermon Notes” is one of the platforms from which I minister the Gospel. I started it in July 2014, when I was on vacation with my ex-girlfriend (who is my current wife), in Gold Coast, Australia. In the cold hotel room, I suddenly felt led to start the page on my laptop, and to sharing my writings with people around the world. Never did I imagine that this page would one day have 42k likes and over 200k people reached with the Gospel twice daily each month.
Help this ministry to further fulfill its mission of “Reach More, Teach More”. In these end times, every second is precious. If you want to partner with us to win souls, and also share in the eternal rewards, join us as a patron on Patreon. “God Every Morning” tier and above patrons also receive daily devotionals by email, daily themed Bible Study teachings in the patron WhatsApp chat group, and all my eBooks. McDonalds already closed, go supermarket need IC and will only be permitted entry on odd or even days. And people are still concerned about whether can they go out buy BBT and wanted to rush down to supermarkets. ⠀
⠀
Guys, wake up please.⠀
⠀
Dragging this longer will affect a lot of people. During the first #circuitbreaker, some groups of people have already experienced pay cut, no pay leaves and retrenched.⠀
⠀
DO NOT THINK THAT IT DOES NOT AFFECT YOU!⠀
⠀
People who lose their job or had a pay cut are not going spend as much. ⠀
⠀
And these numbers will gradually increase, because this happens worldwide. ⠀

It's a ripple effect.⠀

Please stay home and let's do #toiletpaperchallenge #balancingtoiletpaper and you will be kept entertained for at least 30mins. Thank me later.

[english version]
《To those who still blame protesters for destroying Hong Kong》
Common views of you guys:
(A)Regardless of your requests, just stop creating chaos in Hong Kong
You think protesters block roads and destroy public facilities/glass/MTR station facilities are the main reason/factor that lead to:
1. Traffic congestion/gridlok/early closure/temporarily closed of transportation
2. Not being able to come to work on time/ go out
3. Economic recession/distress
Not at all.
It’s only because you cannot see that:
1. Countless tear gas diffused in the air that air pollution will have a serious and prolonged negative effect on all Hong Kongers’ health.
2. Indiscriminate arrests & countless experiences of police brutality, you or your child/friends/family members may be the next target to face police misconduct and violence.
3. Freedom & rights are gradually tightening and vanishing, including rally, assembly and freedom of speech
4. No more private properties and place. For instances, residents kneeled down and let cops searched their body & even made arrest at lobby of their residential building. University campus turned into war zone , students are facing a massacre.
5. Some exits/ ticket machines/ gates of MTR weren’t destroyed. MTR was only cooperated/bowed to the regime.
etc.
Corrupted regime is the main reason of social instability / chaos. No matter you are retired/ rich enough / still working, please open your eyes and realise that this government which keeps turning a blind eye to public opinions & these crazy green terrorists who maltreat and kill Hongkongers, are those who create chaos in Hong Kong.
(B)Doing this can fight for /achieve freedom and democracy?(referring to scenes of protesters beat/hit/destroy/light fire)
No. But these rather radical measures only took place after protesters already tried & participated in numerous peaceful activities such as 1 & 2 million people peaceful rallies (6.9,6.16,8.18) , tens/hundreds of thousand people joined assemblies & assemblies of different industries, human chains, fold paper crane, sing songs, and still, the government ignored them & the escalating police violence & even when protesters are now deprived of rights to assembly and rally with or without Letter of No Objection.
【Hit/beat people】You guys always love to say, ‘Protesters beat middle-aged/elderly, and those who have different views. If they are not rioters, who are they?'
1. Please watch the whole, complete video/broadcast & find out the ins and outs first. Everytime that middle-aged/elderly provoked the fight, so it makes perfect sense for protesters/Hongkongers to fight back/self-defense/protect themselves.
2. Beating people with different political views? Oh, yes. The blue ribbon taxi driver drove to the crowd of protesters and hit a 23-year-old woman that her legs suffered serious fractures, another blue ribbon uncle stabed a young female reporters at lennon wall in Tseong Kwan O that she was severely injured , young boy being slashed with a knife which caused very deep wounds that he could not walk, bit off a ear of a district councillor, stabbed pedestrians at Taikoo etc. These blue ribbons are the ones who have maximum level of intense hatred towards protesters that they deliberately and insanely hurt other people. These are the real rioters.
【Destroy public facilities/ light fire】 Regarding why protesters destroy certain shops/MTR, there are plenty of explanations circulating around. Stop being lazybones, search them yourself and have a good read.
Besides, of course violence acts cannot bring freedom and democracy. It would be great if blue ribbons know, and please stop doing it.
(Three)What’s the use of studying? Students are being incited/stoked up/ they must have received money/benefits.
【Highly-educated/educated】 Don’t you think anyone with a clear mind would believe that those university students, teachers, professors , doctors, medical professionals, civil servants, lawyers, social workers etc. are being incited/instigated?Or rather, they would think that those 0.5/blue ribbons who are undereducated /less educated are easier to be deceived without knowing it? I believe the latter is more convincing.
【Stoke up】If it is that easy to incite anger/ persuade students/ young people/ any protester, why don’t you instigate them?
【Views of protesters receiving money/benefits to take part in the movement】 If being a frontline protesters can earn/receive that much money/benefits or even enough to buy a house, then everyone would be a frontline. The public only know that the reporter at the airport received RMB $100k, the taxi driver received $520k and the cops earn a great deal of money from working overtime.
————————————————
Please stop and think.
You guys lost your humanity when supporting the beatings, maltreating and even killing the protesters.
What an idiot you are to not being able to know & see who are ruining Hong Kong and creating all these chaos.
How selfish and naive for you to think that by hurting and arrest all protesters can let Hong Kong resume its stability and prosperity.
If your child/ friend/ relatives are one of the protesters,
you don’t deserve them.

Viva La Vida (lyrics) by Coldplay:
I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the morning I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
Once you go there was never
Never an honest word
And that was when I ruled the world
It was the wicked and wild wind
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered windows and the sound of drums
People couldn't believe what I'd become
Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate
Just a puppet on a lonely string
Oh who would ever want to be king?
I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world
I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Calvary choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can't explain
I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

Whether it be regular season, playoffs or the All-Star Game, you can take Tim Duncan to the bank.
Duncan's patented bank shot with 26 seconds left provided the final lead change of a seesaw fourth quarter and helped the Western Conference to a 136-132 victory over the Eastern Conference at the Staples Center.
With flashy performances from hometown heroes Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal, the West won for the third straight time. But with the game in the balance, West coach Flip Saunders went to Duncan, the superstar forward of the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs.
Working against New Orleans Hornets center Jamaal Magloire, Duncan buried a turnaround bank shot to give the West a 133-132 edge, the sixth lead change of the final period.
"It was a play that Flip drew up a couple of options to it," Duncan said. "I was kind of the third one."
"Timmy is one of those guys, he makes big plays," Saunders said.
The East had two more chances, but Orlando's Tracy McGrady threw away a lob pass and - after Seattle's Ray Allen made two free throws - Milwaukee's Michael Redd missed a potential tying 3-pointer.
Duncan, who shared All-Star MVP honors with O'Neal in 2000, sank a free throw to seal it. He had a highly characteristic 14 points and 13 rebounds as part of a balanced attack that was tilted in the West's favor by Lakers teammates O'Neal and Bryant.
"My game doesn't change from a regular game to an All-Star Game," Duncan said. "I wish I could be involved in the high-flying stuff, but that's just not what I do."
O'Neal had 24 points, 11 rebounds, a handful of thunderous dunks and several comedic moments as he captured his second All-Star MVP award.
"I'm not one really known known to be taking over an All-Star Game," O'Neal said. "I said to myself if it's going good, nobody is really shining, I'm going to go ahead and go for it."
Bryant, who arrived late to the arena, had 20 points and five steals. He heard some boos from the crowd when he opted for a layup rather than a dunk on a breakaway in the third quarter.
"I just didn't have the momentum so I just laid it in," he said.
For the third time in four years, the midseason showcase came down to the closing moments. A free throw by Duncan tied it at 127-127 with 2:40 to go, but McGrady, who scored 13 points, sank a long jumper. O'Neal tied it again as he hurtled down the lane for a powerful dunk at the 1:57 mark as New Jersey Nets guard Jason Kidd ran for cover.
"I just went in and took it and took 2.9 steps and threw it down," O'Neal said.
"You've got to think about your family," Kidd said. "I don't know if he has an anti-lock brake system but I was just going to get out of the way."
McGrady made a nifty lefthanded drive and Bryant drilled a long jumper before McGrady gave the East its last lead at 132-131 by splitting a pair of free throws with 37 seconds left.
"It was a nail-biter at the end," Bryant said. "It was a good show."
The West had seven players in double figures, as did the East. Allen and Houston center Yao Ming scored 16 points each for the West, while Magloire and New Jersey Nets forward Kenyon Martin- each playing in his first All-Star Game - came off the bench to score 19 and 17 points, respectively.
O'Neal was highly entertaining. He took a couple of spins at point guard in the first half, having his drive swatted out of bounds by Magloire. He later responded by pounding a shot by Magloire into the seats.
"I had a lot of fun," O'Neal said. "A couple of people told me if I get it, there's an opening, they want me to go coast to coast."
In the third quarter, O'Neal scored 10 points on the court and countless points off it. One of his dunks rocked the backboard stanchion so severely it prompted referee Steve Javie to ask if there was an extra one in the building. Seconds later, he scored on a post move, grabbed a fan's video camera and turned it on himself, wiping his brow for effect.
NBA scoring leader Allen Iverson of Philadelphia, who came in with the highest average in All-Star Game history, became a passer, handing out 11 assists with just three points. He had a pair of long lobs that Toronto's Vince Carter turned into jaw-dropping dunks in the first quarter, which ended with the East holding a 33-31 lead.
