上海挑戰賽—盧彥勳因肩傷退賽，屈居亞軍

盧彥勳今天面對中國年輕小將吳易昺，雖然一開賽盧彥勳先破了一個發球局，取得領先，但隨著局數加長，盧彥勳感覺得肩傷愈來愈痛，反手拍和發球也大受影響，終於在5:4的發球局，被破回發球，最後被逼進搶七局後，盧彥勳仍然強忍傷痛硬拼，曾拿到一個盤末點，但被化解，以搶七6:8失去第一盤。在考量肩傷不變嚴重的原則之下，盧彥勳第一盤一結束，就走向吳易昺，宣布退賽。

盧彥勳肩傷其實在打完第一場後，就開始疼痛，但在長庚運動醫療社群張家維的積極治療及服用止痛下，勉強支撐，但昨天在和張擇進行賽事時，肩傷有愈來愈嚴重的趨勢，而今天比賽前半段，盧彥勳還能成功壓制住小將吳易昺，但隨著賽事拉長，盧彥勳的肩傷感覺愈來愈明顯，反拍抽球及發球的威力也力減。盧彥勳表示，打到第一盤後半段，自己知道今天這樣的傷勢打下去，沒有什麼機會，還會冒著受傷更嚴重的風險，自己只想試著撐完第一盤，就算拿下第一盤，應該還是得棄賽。雖然覺得可惜，但仍覺得這星期也算是成功的一週，只是身體出了一些狀況。

盧彥勳賽後也接受當地醫生及 治療師的治療及診斷，主要是盧彥勳這一個月來密集參賽，再加上亞洲美洲長途飛行，舟車勞頓，讓身體的肌肉太疲勞了，需要適時的休息和治療一下，應該不會有什麼大問題。盧彥勳今天將返國休息及治療幾天。

Rendy retires from Shanghai Challenger singles final

In the singles final of Shanghai Challenger, Rendy faced China's new rising star and No.1 junior player in the world Wu Yibing. At the beginning of the first set, Rendy broke serve right away to lead the match. However, as the match went on, the pain in Rendy's right shoulder became worse, which was impacting Rendy's serve and backhand. At 5-4 serving, Rendy was broken and the first set went to the tie-breaker. Although fighting the pain and still got a set point, Rendy ended up losing the tie-breaker 6-8. Considering not to worsen the shoulder injury, Rendy had to retire the match. Even if Rendy had won the first set, he knew he still couldn't finish the match. The shoulder pain started at the end of first round, and got worse in the semi-final. The doctor and physio said after diagnosing Rendy's condition, that the pain could have caused by the hectic tournament schedule and long distance traveling for the past month which the body got too exhausted and muscle fatigue happened. Rendy should be able to recover soon after some rest and treatment. Despite only being the runner-up, Rendy still had a good week in Shanghai Challenger.

盧彥勳今天面對中國的張擇，張擇目前世界排名234名，盧彥勳曾多次和張擇交手。今天由盧彥勳先發球，盧彥勳第一個發球局，有些不穩定，第一個發球局，就被張擇給破發，但接下來盧彥勳連破三個張擇的發球局，連下六局，以6:1拿下第一盤。第二盤，盧彥勳一上來就破了張擇的發球局，很快的也以6:2拿下。 盧彥勳明天將面對現任的世界青少年球王，甫十七歲中國的吳易昺，吳易昺上星期才在美國拿下世界青少年組的單打及雙打雙料冠軍，狀況極佳，明天對盧彥勳來說將是一場硬仗。

In the semifinal of Shanghai Challenger today, Rendy faced Zhang Ze, the number two player in China. Both players have played against each other many times already in the past. In today's match, Rendy served first, but was broken immediately. However, Rendy broke back three times afterwards to win six straight games and took the first set 6-1. In the second set, Rendy broke serve right away and continued to win the set 6-2. In tomorrow's final, Rendy will play against Wu Yibing of China. Wu is the No.1 ranked junior player in the world, and just won the 2017 US Open Boys singles and doubles titles last week. Wu carried the momentum into this week's Shanghai Challenger and defeat #2 seed Polansky in the first round, and hasn't lost a set all week. It will be a tough match for Rendy tomorrow.

成都挑戰賽—盧彥勳擊敗地主新希望吳易昺，晉級決賽

盧彥勳本星期參加成都125000美金的成都挑戰賽，今天再度碰上17歲的中國青少年球王吳易昺。吳易昺今年年初曾高居ITF青少年排名世界第二，是中國男子網壇的新希望。第一盤盧彥勳掌握了主動的攻勢，2:1後，接連破了吳易昺兩個發球局，很快的以6:1拿下。但今天的成都下午又高溫35度又潮濕，讓年紀足足大一倍的盧彥勳體力消耗太快，第二盤開始，3:4時，盧彥勳先被破發，反到是讓吳易昺拿下第二盤。第三盤，盧彥勳的發球局表現算強勢，但在接發球局的底線對抽，隨著體力下降，盧彥勳失誤也愈來愈多，但雙方仍對峙到4:4時，盧彥勳的發球局，面臨了吳易昺強力的挑戰，但盧彥勳仍保住了兩個破發點，成功拿下發球局，取得5:4的領先，而吳易昺的發球局，盧彥勳集中精神力拼，連下4分破發，以6:4驚險拿下第三盤。盧彥勳賽後表示，自己第一盤表現很好，球質也很重，所以能有效的壓制吳易昺，但第二盤中段後，可能今天實在太熱了，感覺腳愈來愈沈，失誤也愈來愈多；所幸自己靠著意志力撐到最後並拿下勝利。而對新秀吳易昺，盧彥勳也表示肯定，17歲而已，但打球很聰明，發球也不錯，是值得期待的選手。

In today's semifinals match at the 2017 International Challenger Chengdu, top seed Rendy faced 17-year-old wild card player Yibing Wu from China. Wu is the top junior player in China, and ranked as high as ITF #2 junior in the world earlier this year. In the first set Rendy was in control of the match, broke Wu twice and cruised through the first set 6:1. However, under the 35 degree C weather in Chengdu this afternoon, Rendy being twice as old as his young opponent, exhausted his energy quickly in the second set, made many unforced errors and lost the set 3:6. In the third set, Rendy still struggled but managed to stay even in the match. At 4:4, Rendy saved two break points and went up 5:4. In the next game with Wu serving, Rendy focused well and won 4 straight points to break serve and win the final set 6:4. It was a difficult win for Rendy today and he is glad that he toughed it out. At only 17 years old, Wu plays a good game and has good serves. He has great potential and could be the future of China tennis. In tomorrow's final, Rendy will play against 2nd seed Evgeny Donskoy from Russia.
