Lipad Mud Volcano, one of the several intriguing mud volcanoes found in Tabin Wildlife Reserve located in the eastern part of Sabah. These mud volcanoes are formed when natural gas builds up enough pressure in the earth’s crust to push mud, water and gases to the surface.
Natural salt licks are known as sodium-rich places. Natural salt-licks are one such places where animals can supplement their diet with these minerals especially plant-eating mammals that need another source of the minerals that are deficient in plants.
